#Create exclusive Key

API Key is the credential for the client to call MuskAI. Each Key can be independently managed for purpose, quota, and status. It is recommended to create each Key separately by tool or project.

Creation steps​

  1. Log in to the MuskAI console.
  2. Enter the API Key or Token Management page.
  3. Click Create Key.
  4. Fill in the name, such as Claude Code, Codex, Local Development.
  5. After saving, copy the Key and fill in the client configuration.

Configuration example​

export OPENAI_BASE_URL="Base URL copied from the official website User Center - [API Key] page"

Management suggestions​

  • One client uses one Key to facilitate problem location.
  • Keys that are no longer used are promptly disabled or deleted.
  • Do not submit Key to GitHub, logs, or public documents.
  • When abnormal calls are found, first disable the corresponding Key and then check the usage records.
